1) What is the Whova event platform? How is it different from Zoom?
Whova is an award-winning, event delivery and management platform for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, and its functionality goes far beyond that of a regular Zoom meeting or webinar! Whova enables GAPS OnCon virtual attendees from around the world to participate and interact through web portal and mobile app technology to view a personalized agenda, message center, speaker sessions, and event photos; to participate in community discussion forums, round table events, live polls, leaderboard contests, and meetups with other attendees; and to connect with speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and event administrators before and during the event – all at their fingertips and from the comfort of home without travel expenses. Overwhelmingly positive feedback was received from past OnCon attendees and vendors who praised the Whova platform as “a virtual experience that felt as cohesive and enjoyable as an in-person event”! Please see our reviews at GAPSOnCon.com located towards the bottom of the home page. We love Whova and we know you will too!

The OnCon Team may opt to hold separate regional international events to provide the content of our annual OnCon in multiple languages.
